I Owe...
I owe you my hand,
Because you lent me yours when I fell.
You picked me up with sprightly zest,
So I was able to stand again, firm and well.
I owe you my shoulder,
Because you lent me yours when I was feelin' low.
It was a soothing place to flush out my tears,
And sleep the enchanted sleep that healed my sorrows.
I owe you my heart,
Because you reached out with yours to touch mine.
You could hear my euphoria and sighs from within,
For our hearts have intertwined.
I owe you ME,
Because you are in all aspects, my one true friend,
These four debts I shall owe you eternally,
For our friendship shall never end.
