I wish you could understand,
I’m trying my best not to let my feelings show
But my emotions have gotten the best of me,
It's so hard to sit back and watch the one you
love; Love someone else.

I know from experience,
I loved you with all my heart and any regrets
But baby, what happened to us?
And how everyone thought we were the "best"?
What happened to all out promises,
That you obviously never kept?

Its so hard to wait around on something,
Especially when its all you've ever wanted.
I gave up when you stopped trying
And now I'm moving on because you stopped caring.

I wish you could understand,
I've tried my best to not let my feelings show,
I've tried not to love you anymore
But for some strange reason I keep holding on.

But in the end, The decision is all yours,
You decide who you'd rather be with,
I just hope your decision includes me.

And if it doesn't ;
Just remember one thing;
I love you & I always will
And in my heart you will remain.
